Robert J. Fontaine, CIRP
The firm's president, Robert holds the designation of Chartered Insolvency & Restructuring Professional. He has worked in the insolvency field since 1972 initially with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and then in 1980 as partner with Fox and Partners. In 1989, he established Fontaine & Associates Inc.
Robert is a member of the Canadian Insolvency & Restructuring Professional Association and one of 6 advisors of the Association with the Superintendent of Bankruptcy. He's a lecturer for the Association at the annual National Insolvency Qualification Program for Articling students across Canada and a former member of the Syllabus Committee.
Robert is a member of the Federal Personal Insolvency Task Force making recommendations for legislative changes expected in 2003. |
